Bardex Infection Control Silver-Coated Latex Foley Catheter has been shown in research to reduce catheter-associated urinary tract infections. Due to its specialized silver alloy coating and Bard hydrogel, presence of bacteria is reduced and disallows biofilm to be formed. Risk of urinary tract infection is 3.7 times less in Bardex I.C. Silver-Coated Latex Foley Catheter than in standard catheters.
